Songwriter
Walter J. Kin (RIGLI) is a New York-based songwriter working across original songs and English-language adaptations of Jewish repertoire. His work explores love, belonging, celebration and cultural memory, connecting Eastern European roots with contemporary American life.
RIGLI
In 2016, he began a focused cultural mission: to give Jewish songs a vibrant, enduring voice in the English-speaking world. In 2017, he initiated a collaboration with poet Olga Anikina on Russian poetic adaptations. His work with singer Elechka and other artists has brought this repertoire into recordings and releases. Through RIGLI and JewishHit.com, he develops original songs and singable English adaptations. Individual song and recording credits remain specific to each work.

JEWISH — Feature movie musical, in development. Writer and creator of a contemporary movie musical about Jewish musical heritage, intergenerational healing and cultural reinvention. Currently developing the screenplay, connecting ancestral songs with contemporary English-language storytelling for Jewish and non-Jewish audiences alike.
